Where Does Your €25 Concert Ticket Go?

You pay €25, it would be easy to think the artist gets most of it. Usually, it's not that simple. An event can have venue costs, sound, lighting, staff, security, marketing, ticketing, transport, equipment and artist fees.

So if 500 people buy a €25 ticket, that's €12,500 in ticket sales. It doesn't mean €12,500 in profit.

And the artist's deal can vary too. They might receive a fixed fee, a percentage, or another arrangement. So when you buy a ticket, you're not only paying for the two hours you spend inside.

You're helping pay for everything required to make those two hours happen.
