A festival could put everyone on one stage.

So why use several? Because thousands of people want different things at the same time. One stage can host a major performance while another has a smaller artist, DJ or completely different genre.

It also keeps the audience moving, eople choose where they want to go, some stay for the headliner, others discover something they didn't plan to see. Multiple stages turn a festival into several experiences happening at once.
