Our Story

The journey behind PransApp began in 2019 with a passion for fashion, creativity and bringing people together. What started as fashion pop-ups quickly became something much bigger.

We began collaborating with designers, artists, musicians, photographers, venues and local creators across Helsinki. Every event introduced us to new people, new ideas and new communities. Over time, our pop-ups evolved into cultural experiences where creativity, music and local businesses came together. That's when we realised something important.

The community already existed.

The people were there.

The venues were there.

The artists were there.

The businesses were there.

But everything was scattered across different platforms, social media pages and messaging apps. So we asked ourselves one simple question.

What if everything could live in one place?

That question became PransApp.

 

Why We Built PransApp

PransApp was created to make discovering local experiences simple while giving the people behind those experiences the opportunity to grow.

Built From Experience

We didn't build PransApp from an office.

We built it from years of working alongside the very communities it now serves.

From organizing live events and fashion pop-ups to collaborating with venues, artists, musicians, cafés, restaurants and local businesses, we've experienced the same challenges our users face every day. That's why every feature in PransApp is designed with real people, real businesses and real communities in mind.

 

Our Journey

Our journey didn't begin with technology. It began with real events, real people and real communities.

2022 – Live Music Pop-Up Events

We organised outdoor live music events that brought together local artists, performers and the community in open public spaces.

These events helped us understand how difficult it was for talented creators to gain visibility and connect with new audiences.

2023 – Taiteiden Yö Summer Pop-Up

As part of Taiteiden Yö, we organised a live music pop-up surrounded by one of Helsinki's most iconic cultural settings.

People gathered to sing, dance and celebrate local creativity together. Experiences like these reinforced our belief that communities thrive when people have an easy way to discover local events and support local talent.

Beyond the Events

Every collaboration with venues, artists, cafés, restaurants and organizers taught us something new.

Those experiences shaped the vision behind PransApp and continue to influence every feature we build today.

 

More Than Technology

PransApp didn't begin as a technology company.

It began with people.

Years of conversations.

Friendships.

And a genuine passion for supporting local communities. Technology simply became the tool that allowed us to bring everything together.

Today, PransApp continues to grow beyond discovery by giving businesses the tools to manage their profile, services, teams, forms and offers—all while staying connected to the communities they serve.

Our Story

Pranvera began in 2019 with a focus on fashion and clothing. In those early years, we organized popups and creative gatherings that brought together designers, artists, musicians, and creators from different backgrounds. As these popups grew, they evolved into cultural experiences. We invited performers, collaborated closely with venues, and worked alongside artists, hosts, and creative spaces across Helsinki. Over time, one thing became clear — we weren’t just producing events, we were building a community.

We knew the venues, we knew the artists, we knew the creators, hosts, and cultural spaces, But everything was scattered. So we stepped back and asked a simple question --what if all of this could live in one place? That idea became PransApp.

Why PransApp Exists

PransApp was created as a marketplace and discovery platform for the people we were already working with — venues, hosts, artists, creators, fashion shows, and cultural organizers. Instead of relying on flyers, DMs, and word of mouth, we wanted one space where real-life experiences could be discovered easily and organically. PransApp brings events, venues, and creative communities together — making it easier for people to find what’s happening and for creators to be visible.

Our Experience in Events & Culture

Between 2022 and 2024, Pranvera produced and hosted a range of live events and cultural gatherings across Helsinki — from intimate popup performances to larger public celebrations.

2022 – Popup Live Music Events

We hosted dynamic outdoor popup concerts showcasing emerging and local artists. These open-air events brought together music lovers from across the city, creating vibrant spaces filled with sound, color, and community energy.

2023 – Taiteiden Yö Summer Popup

As part of Taiteiden Yö, we organized a live music popup in a public city space surrounded by historic architecture. The event invited people to sing, dance, and share the joy of live performance in an open, welcoming atmosphere. These events reflect the type of experiences PransApp is built to support — authentic, diverse, and community-driven.

From Community to Platform PransApp didn’t start as a tech idea. It started as a community. Built from years of real collaborations and hands-on experience in events, fashion, and culture, the platform reflects the world we’ve been part of from the beginning.
